Knollwood Country Club

A gorgeous venue to host your wedding reception that you wouldn't know it's in the valley. We came to a wedding reception here last night and I thought this would be a perfect place to host your wedding reception if you have around 150 guest. The parking spaces is perfect since they have their own lot, the bar is a decent size and the reception all has a nice view outside along with the inside design. I really like how they set up the lights and ceiling but if you want to add your own wedding theme colors, you'll have to rent some up-lighting and etc. You can also have your wedding ceremony outside too because it's next to a golf course but you'll have some privacy with the brushes.

TL;DR: This grand ballroom at this venue was perfect for what my husband and I wanted for our wedding. The experience, atmosphere, and food were all amazing, and we have gotten so many compliments for our guests. Hire this venue and Melissa and Crystal, their wedding coordinators, you won’t regret it. Wow wow wow, this venue is beautiful. It had both of what my husband and I were looking for our wedding — a place to party all night without noise restrictions and an outdoor area to relax in. And this venue could not have turned out to be better for this vibe. We had both our ceremony and reception at this venue in early November. We were nervous that the flowers would not be in bloom for the ceremony, but they were absolutely beautiful. For the reception, my husband and I wanted a PARTY — no kids, loud music, yard games, and lots of dancing. Melissa, our venue coordinator, made all of this happen with little to no resistance to our ideas. A space for our Cornhole boards? No problem. Water pong table? They provided it. They even had the fire pit running all night, which was a huge hit for our guests. Everything ran on time or earlier than expected, and the venue changed accordingly. When my husband and I were relaxing before the grand entrance, they made sure to bring us the appetizers that were being served to the guests — that made us so happy! Mozzarella sticks and chicken fried skewers (chicken nuggets on a stick). Delicious. 👌🏼 The food ended up being better than what we had tried at the initial tasting. We got a lot of compliments on it — we did a buffet with chicken and tri-tip. And we also did a late night snack, which we also got compliments on, but my husband and I did not get to try (chicken and waffle skewers). This venue is great, all of our guests were very impressed. If you are looking for somewhere with an indoor and outdoor space, this is the one for you

The formerly private, now public country club is not only popular with the locals, it’s now also the destination for visiting youth groups, schools and organizations! I think the golf course is among the most beautiful open green spaces in the San Fernando Valley, notwithstanding drought conditions! The clubhouse makes for a great setting to have private functions, including weddings and receptions. There’s a large parking lot, able to accommodate golfers and guests. Busses and large vehicles can go up top to drop off and pick up, with standby parking space for those as well. A down side for some is being in the flight path of Van Nuys Airport, though the noise is barely noticeable from the small planes. While the place may not be as elegant and ritzy as clubs to the south, the functionality works with those who prefer to keep it simple!

Decent course for just screwing around. Fairways and tee boxes are in bad shape. Tee boxes are not groomed and uneven which makes it difficult to get a fair stance. Fairways are mostly crabgrass, tree roots and aren't cut to define rough. There's a lot of bark and fallen pine needles in and around the Fairways. The two things going for the course are the greens and the bunkers. Sand is soft and well maintained. Greens are some of the best cared for that ive seen and are not overly sloped. Overall a fun course. It'was once very nice and cared for to a high level. Still has great potential if they stepped up and invested in the Fairways and tee boxes. Not overly crowded.
